My philosophy 

If you’re on this page, there’s a good chance that you’re looking for a freelancer and wondering if I’m the right guy for the job.

Finding good freelancers is tough – I know, I’ve done it myself many times… So I’m going to do you a favour.

I think a lot about my work. In fact, a little while ago I distilled my approach down to four core principles.

These principles are based on 11 years of running campaigns and always asking myself: what’s clearly working and what isn’t?

The purpose of content marketing is to build meaningful relationships with real people over the internet.

Some goals are best achieved indirectly. Focus on the human connection and the traffic and the leads will follow. 

The fastest way to build an audience is to have genuine expertise and be generous with it.

Solving real problems for real people in a public space – that’s what content marketing is all about.

If you don’t give your best ideas away, someone else will.

Don’t keep your best ideas a secret. Give them away and offer to help people execute. After all, having an idea is the easy part.

People always judge a book buy its cover.

Good design and sharp copy is a trust signal. We buy into brands and people that look the part.

I love writing and I love helping people. That’s why I’m a content marketer.
